
Prabhu brings with him extensive experience and a deep commitment to child rights, child protection, community development, life skills education, and social welfare. He holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Community Development from Sindhi College, University of Madras, Chennai, which laid a strong foundation for his work in community engagement and sustainable development.
Over the years, Prabhu has worked closely with government departments, civil society organizations, educational institutions, and community stakeholders to strengthen child protection systems and improve outcomes for children. Through his work, he has developed expertise in case management, partner engagement, stakeholder coordination, capacity building, advocacy, training, and government liaison.
Prabhu has played a key role in expanding child protection initiatives and strengthening access to care and support services for vulnerable children across Tamil Nadu. One of his notable contributions includes supporting efforts with the Tamil Nadu School Education Department to integrate child protection messages and Child Helpline 1098 information into school textbooks, helping increase awareness among children and communities across the state.
On the personal front, Prabhu’s journey is deeply rooted in values of integrity, perseverance, compassion, and service. Raised in a humble family by his parents, he became the first graduate in his family—an achievement that reinforced his belief in the transformative power of education and inspired his dedication to social development.
