Gaytri has completed her graduation in Sociology from Miranda House, where her academic journey helped shape her understanding of society and strengthened her commitment to creating meaningful social impact. During this time, she began her professional journey with Swasti – The Health Catalyst, initially as an intern supporting the Women Talk Health campaign, which later evolved into part-time and then full-time roles.
She later joined MASH Project Foundation as part of the communications team, where her experiences further strengthened her interest in working directly with people and contributing to meaningful change. This inspired her to pursue a Master’s in Social Work (Women-Centred Practice) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. During her time at TISS, she engaged with diverse communities and worked across areas including gender, violence, education, politics, and health. Fieldwork became one of the most enriching parts of her learning journey and continues to shape her perspective and approach today.
Outside of work, Gaytri enjoys baking, reading, crocheting, swimming, and exploring different forms of arts and crafts.
