Christmas celebrations at Bethel were grand and lively. The month began with the game of secret friend. The children were explained the purpose of the game and were encouraged to think well and do well for their secret friends.

A crib making competition was also organized for the children of all the classes. The children came up with brilliant ideas to creatively decorate their respective cribs. Children of grades 7th and 3rd were adjudged the best amongst all, however the sisters awarded all the children.

The Christmas eve was brought in with laughter, smiles, prayers and good energy. The editorial committee at Bethel took charge of decorating the stage for the main celebrated and did an exceptional job.

A group of the older girls performed Bharatnatyam, an Indian classical dance to commence the program. There was carol singing, skits and several other dance performances as well. The children were treated to a tasty and scrumptious lunch completed with sweets.

The children and the staff lived up to the true spirit of Christmas and had a wonderful day.

Meanwhile, the New Life family brought in Christmas with cake, new dresses, balloons and an all red Rudolf who brought along gifts for all. A first real Christmas celebration for most of the kids, they completed enjoyed themselves.
