Geeta comes with more than two decades of rich and varied experience from the grassroots to the managerial level, ranging from team leading, project design & management, budgeting, livelihood linkages with a special emphasis on skill upgradation in urban & rural contexts, research, knowledge management, and strategic planning. She started her career with MARAG, working for migrants and children for their empowerment and worked there for 10 years.

As a State Head at Miracle Foundation India, she works with a multi-cultural & multi-skilled team towards achieving our organisational goals.

She is an enthusiastic social worker having a passion to work for the deprived section, gender, class, and caste justice in our society. Geeta was awarded the Gandhi Mitra Award as a dedicated social worker by the Governor of Gujarat in 2013 in recognition of her work towards strengthening deprived sections of society. Geeta believes in Gandhian values and philosophy.
