Youth Ambassadors Driving ChangeAcross Communities

Across communities, Miracle Foundation India’s Youth Ambassadors are turning their own experiences into support for other young people, not through one single intervention, but through conversations, connections and small acts that can make a difference at the right moment.

In Billakal village in Nagarkurnool district, Telangana, Anitha spent time speaking with community members, teachers and Anganwadi staff to better understand the realities affecting children and families. She also continued supporting her mentee as she navigated decisions about higher education and created a WhatsApp group to help care-experienced youth stay connected. In the same district, Somnath engaged with the Chenchu tribal community, where conversations brought him closer to concerns around education, transport, substance use and child marriage, helping him understand where young people may need greater support.

Elsewhere, these efforts are taking different forms. In Pune in Maharashtra, Ritesh, Sadhana and Simran created different opportunities for young people and communities to connect and learn. Ritesh brought 12 young people together to reflect on their emotions, strengths and personal growth, while Sadhana opened conversations with 23 youth around hygiene and healthy living. Simran, meanwhile, brought together more than 50 young people, children and community members through leadership, learning and skills opportunities. In Nagpur, Suhani stayed connected with a care-experienced youth navigating independent life while Uma helped adolescents build practical digital skills and learn about health and hygiene from a CCI alumna.

In Tamil Nadu, Evanglin Jenifer supported four young people in Coimbatore district with career preparation, while Merlin Sofiya continued strengthening connections with children’s homes in Erode district.

Youth leadership is at the heart of these initiatives. Young people are stepping forward to share experiences, support peers, build connections and contribute to their communities. Across different spaces and activities, they are not only participating but also shaping conversations, encouraging others and creating opportunities for collective action.
