We, at Miracle Foundation India, are pleased to share that Bal Panchayat members from Mokhada in Palghar district of Maharashtra recently met with the Honourable Minister for Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra, Smt. Aditi Tatkare. Organized on February 10, 2026, with support from Parivartan Mahila Sanstha and the Hon’ble Minister’s Office, the interaction included representatives from 7 Bal Panchayats. They shared about their work on child protection and raised critical issues like school safety, early marriage, child labour, migration, and the need for child-friendly villages.

Their courage, hope, and confidence reflected the power of children when given the opportunity to be heard. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Minister for taking the time to engage with and encourage these young changemakers.

We also acknowledge the continued efforts of our partner organization, Parivartan Mahila Sanstha, in empowering children to raise their voices and lead change in their communities. Together, these efforts contribute to strengthening children’s participation and building safer, more inclusive communities.
