Miracle Foundation India has been supporting the strengthening of child protection systems across Tamil Nadu under its MoU with the Department of Child Welfare and Special Services. As part of this partnership, the organisation has been inducted as an official member of the Sponsorship and Foster Care Approval Committee (SFCAC) in Chennai, following its earlier representation in the Coimbatore district.

As an active SFCAC member, Miracle Foundation India works closely with the District Child Protection Unit, Child Care Institutions, and Child Welfare Committees to reinforce the district child protection system through regular coordination and hands-on technical support. This has enabled more structured family preparation processes, strengthened evidence-based decision-making, and enhanced rehabilitative and preventive sponsorship pathways. These efforts have encouraged greater district ownership and integration of Family-Based Alternative Care systems to improve long-term outcomes for children.
