Miracle Foundation India organized a two-day webinar on ‘Safe and Permanent Child Reintegration’. The webinar aimed to build knowledge and skills for effective & systematic outcomes in transforming care for the orphaned and children from disadvantaged communities.
The panel discussion featured diverse & experienced panelists from the child care eco-system. A few of the prominent speakers were:
- Sandhyaa Mishra, Director- Programs from Miracle Foundation India.She highlighted the tried and tested model used in the child reintegration process.
- Women & Child Department (WCD) Officer from Indore (Madhya Pradesh), District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Officer, Malappuram (Kerala) & an esteemed officer of the UNICEF team in Gujarat shared State initiatives on child reintegration and emphasized the need for convergence opportunities to ensure family strengthening.
- A fellow non-profit shared the outcomes of their COVID rapid assessment survey done with children from disadvantaged communities.
- The leadership from two of Miracle mentored child care institute’s shared their experiences from the implementation of the reintegration process
The webinar was attended by 194 childcare officials & members across India. The live-stream on social media gathered a significant viewership of 2.4 K. We were able to impact 3030 children through these government officials and NGO representatives from 10 different countries.
