Shubha brings 30+ years of experience at the intersection of technology and financial services, distinguished by her versatile leadership in operational risk, resilience, and engineering. She is recognized for her deep expertise in risk management, third-party risk, and driving complex enterprise-wide transformations with an engineering mindset.

Her career began as a programmer analyst at TVS Electronics, followed by several roles across the United States where she continued to work at the nexus of software development and financial services. After earning her M.B.A. from the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, she joined Diamond Consulting, leading large-scale transformation programs for global clients. One such initiative brought her to Goldman Sachs, where she has spent two decades.

At Goldman Sachs, across New York and India offices, she has held multiple global leadership positions in engineering and risk management, while also shaping the firm’s India strategy as part of regional leadership. She has built and led high-performing teams, strengthened organizational culture, and fostered cross-regional collaboration with many engineering and non-engineering roles.
