Rachna is an accomplished professional with a diverse range of experiences in the banking sector for more than three decades. She has served as the Regional Director for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Punjab, Haryana, and UT Chandigarh, overseeing supervisory and operational functions of financial institutions. Additionally, she has held the position of General Manager in the Financial Inclusion & Development Department in Chandigarh and New Delhi, where she spearheaded initiatives to promote financial literacy and inclusion for marginalized populations. With a strong background in banking regulation, Rachna has also served as the General Manager in the Department of Banking Regulation at the Mumbai Central Office. She has actively contributed to important committees, including the Kapoor Committee and the World Bank Committee on Credit Reporting. Rachna holds a Certified Associate Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) qualification, along with a Master’s degree in Political Science from Allahabad University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow.
