Leslie Beasley joined Miracle Foundation as President in 2018 and was promoted to CEO in 2019. Leslie has served as a member of the organization’s Board of Directors since 2016, dedicating her passion for children’s rights and her commitment to solutions for children separated from their parents. She has observed the lives and conditions of children in countless orphanages all over the world, and she has evolved into an admired thought leader on the issues facing child development & well-being and family & community strengthening.
Leslie has more than 25 years of non-profit and entrepreneurial experience. Most recently, she was the Founder and CEO of Open Arms, a social enterprise that provides living wage employment to women survivors of war. In 2015, Leslie and her co-founder gifted Open Arms to a non-profit organization serving refugees in order to provide them with a profitable revenue-producing model and economic empowerment programming to the women they serve.
During the past two decades, Leslie has been actively involved in a number of organizations that drive social change in the United States and around the world. She was a founding Board member for Work for Life, an organization that assists African entrepreneurs in launching sustainable businesses to help eliminate poverty.
Leslie is committed to social change and inspiring businesses to use their people, expertise and financial resources to make a positive impact. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Robert and four children.
