Miracle Foundation India has been pivotal in advancing child protection in Tamil Nadu, with a strong emphasis on Family Strengthening and Family-Based Alternative Care. A key aspect of our efforts is capacity-building of the social service workforce at both state and district levels to enable them to serve as effective gatekeepers and strengthen community-based mechanisms to prevent child separation. Through our work, we are pleased to have gained recognition as a State Resource Organization.

In September 2024, our Tamil Nadu team was invited to conduct a comprehensive training program for 76 social workers from District Child Protection Units across all 38 districts of the state.

Together, we are creating a child protection system that prioritizes family-based care, ensuring that every child has the chance to grow up in a loving environment.
