A long-time child rights and child protection advocate, Sandhyaa Mishra leads Miracle Foundation India’s programs across the country for supporting children without parental care to have a better quality of life while bringing about sustainable change that reduces the need for child care institutions.  Being one of the first employees of Miracle Foundation India, she has witnessed and been part of the evolution of the organization from two employees to fifty plus employees with a single bold goal “a loving family for every child”. Sandhyaa is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s programs are effective and efficient and that child rights and child protection are promoted in all the organization does. She represents the organization at various platforms with government officials, partners, networks and other experts in the field.

Sandhyaa holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Labour Laws and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights and has been working with children and youth in difficult circumstances for more than 20 years such as children of prisoners, refugees and children infected and affected with HIV/AIDS.
