
Poonam is a development professional with over 12 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, practice-based research, and project management. She has worked across various sectors of development, including Public Health, Elementary Education, Microfinance, Life Skills Education, WASH, Adolescent Development and Girl Empowerment, and GBV. Poonam has successfully managed and led MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) projects at both the national and state levels, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government officials, NGO partners, and local governance structures. Her expertise includes designing Logical Frameworks (LFA), MEL frameworks, quality monitoring, research and evaluation design, impact assessment, data analysis, and reporting.
Poonam holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, along with certificate courses in MEAL. Outside of work, she enjoys reading both fiction and non-fiction and exploring new places.
