
Aruna Vaidyanathan is a business leader who has straddled the media and marketing worlds in her
career spanning three decades and three countries. Currently, she is part of Tata Consultancy
Services’ (TCS) marketing leadership team.
Aruna started her career in business media in India working in publications like The Economic Times.
She wrote, edited, and led editions covering a vast range of business topics: stock markets,
corporates, technology, and management. She then spent a decade in Europe working in Germany
and the United Kingdom in various marketing and communications roles with TCS. There, she helped
establish the company’s brand in mainland Europe and the UK, building relationships with local
clients, industry bodies and other stakeholders, and supporting growth in regional European
markets. For TCS in India, she has led Strategic Communications at the CEO’s office, Content
Marketing, and Growth Marketing.
As a technology marketing leader, Aruna has led large programs and teams operating at the
intersection of technology, marketing, and business. She works with C-suite leaders on messaging,
thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies.
Aruna has previously been a Tata ProEngage fellow, bringing her business experience to projects in
the non-profit sector.
