Miracle Foundation India’s Youth Ambassadors, drawn from Child Care Institutions (CCIs) and local communities, play a vital role in raising awareness about the importance of a family for every child and driving meaningful impact. This month, we celebrate Evangeline Jenifer from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, who joined our Youth Ambassadors’ Program in 2024.
Jenifer, now a data analyst at Vserve E-Business Solutions, has been associated with Miracle Foundation India since 2016. Growing up in a CCI, she has first-hand understanding of the emotional struggles children face, especially when they are being reintegrated with their families. Witnessing the challenges of reconnecting with loved ones and navigating emotions during the post-CCI life, Jenifer felt a strong calling to support others in similar situations. In 2024, after becoming a Youth Ambassador, she became an active voice for children in CCIs, guiding them through their transition and emphasizing the critical role of education in shaping their futures. During her interventions as a Youth Ambassador, she has been networking with like-minded peers and other organizations which has helped broaden her perspectives, turning her into a confident leader.
Outside her professional commitments, Jenifer finds joy in assisting her grandmother at her small shop and engaging with the CCI she grew up in, during the alumni meetings. She uses these opportunities to mentor others on career development, communication skills, and effective decision-making. Looking to the future, Jenifer dreams of developing an innovative e-commerce mobile application for sports enthusiasts, offering a platform for accessing sports-related news, events and equipment. She hopes to inspire young minds by showing them that, no matter their beginnings, they have the power to build a successful and fulfilling future.
Jenifer’s journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of giving back, ensuring that children transitioning out of CCIs find the support and encouragement they need to thrive.
