Convergence for Impact: Strengthening Child Protection and Education  in Telangana

As part of our ongoing work in Utkoor and Pulimamidi villages of Narayanpet district, Telangana, it was observed that many children were admitted to CCIs due to lack of access to education, as the absence of transportation made schooling difficult. Through convergence with the Department of Education supported by the District Education Office, the team facilitated bus services from the interior villages to the Panchayat primary school.

This crucial step has enabled more than 70 children—including 5 newly admitted with the team’s support—to access education, thereby preventing dropouts and reducing the need for children to enter CCIs for educational reasons. This convergence between the child protection system and the education department is ensuring that children from vulnerable communities have equitable opportunities to learn and thrive while remaining within their families and communities. Building on these successes, Miracle Foundation India will continue to strengthen government convergence, scale innovative tools like ThriveWell, and expand community-based solutions so that every child can learn, grow, and thrive within a loving family.
