In ancient traditions, circles represented unity, wholeness, the sun, the feminine force, and Mother Earth. Our house mothers at Anbarasi have begun to eat meals with their children in circles.

The house mothers soon noticed that the circles gradually became smaller as the children began to sit closer and closer together. This bond is one of our goals. Although our children are living here without their parents, our house mothers can fill some of their missing needs. More important than simple care and feeding is a feeling of trust and connection.

Under Miracle training, the house mothers are learning to chart the health progress of the children in their care.
