Miracle Foundation India’s Youth Ambassadors, drawn from Child Care Institutions (CCIs) and local communities, play an important role in raising awareness about child rights and strengthening children’s voices. This month, we celebrate Piya (name changed), a young changemaker from Maharashtra, who has grown through the opportunities and support she received and has been a Youth Ambassador since 2024.
Currently in 12th Standard, Piya’s journey over the past two years has been one of growth and confidence. Through her involvement as a Youth Ambassador, she has developed important life and communication skills by participating in youth-focused activities and learning opportunities. These experiences have encouraged her to speak up, share her ideas, and actively engage with others. Motivated by the support she received, Piya now mentors and supports younger children in her CCI. She is also a member of the Child Committee within the CCI, where she takes on leadership roles and contributes to creating a supportive environment for other children.
Piya dreams of becoming an IAS officer so that she can give back to society and support children growing up in circumstances similar to her own.
