Barry Twomey has been a private equity investor for over 30 years, most recently with Austin-based TGF Management, which he joined in 1999. Previously he was a partner at Electra Fleming and Fortis Private Capital, both based in New York. Barry has invested in a diverse group of companies in a broad range of industries, focusing primarily on the acquisition and development of private and family-owned companies.

Barry is a director of the Gladney Fund, the endowment arm of The Gladney Center for Adoption in Fort Worth, and a CASA volunteer in Travis County, where he works with children in the foster care system. He received his B.A. in biochemistry from Connecticut College and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Barry and his wife have four children.
